The EPOWERS Research Group of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) is a renowned research group in the field of powertrains, power electronics, and smart green energy solutions with intelligent vehicle control systems. EPOWERS’ vision is to create sustainable, emission-free, affordable, efficient, and innovative technologies to enable smart mobility, transport, and energy solutions for all.
Why BELOGIC?
BELOGIC is in line with EPOWERS’ scientific roadmap and is an evolution of the work EPOWERS researchers performed in previous and ongoing projects like NextETRUCK, ZEFES, and FLEXMCS.
Involvement in BELOGIC?
VUB is the Coordinator of BELOGIC and plays an active role in communication, dissemination, exploitation, and business modeling via stakeholder engagement, the AEVETO cluster, and technical publications.
VUB leads the development of advanced digital tools for logistics, including predictive maintenance of charging fleet infrastructure, and intelligent decision-support tools for fleet planning and investment to optimize fleet investments, operational efficiency, and reduce Mega-watt charger downtime.
