Every day our customers use our products and services to transport, deliver, build, and ferry goods, objects and people around the world. Our products and services help us to put food on our tables, carry people to work or school, build roads, keep our cities clean and much, much more, effectively, helping to meet the growing demands of our world. Around 99,000 employees at the end of 2025. 14 brands. Almost 180 markets. Production facilities in 17 countries. Trucks, buses, construction equipment and marine and industrial engines. Complete solutions for financing and service.
Together with our customers and supply chain partners, governments, societies and other stakeholders, we are moving to develop and introduce transport and infrastructure solutions that drive prosperity socially, environmentally and financially. This means that we strive towards our vision of transport and infrastructure solutions that are 100% safe, 100% fossil-free and 100% more productive.
Why BELOGIC?
Volvo’s commitment to the goals of the Paris Agreement remains firm, and we continue to work to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across our value chain. We are strongly committed to accelerating the share of zero-emission vehicles in the market, and we see BELOGIC as an important step in addressing the remaining barriers for our customers through real-life demonstration of integrated operational tools, new logistics models, and decision-support tools that can enable a viable green transition for long-haul transport in Europe.
Involvement in BELOGIC?
We believe that success in the green transition of long-haul transport in Europe depends on close collaboration with partners to address the remaining challenges faced by logistics companies. Within BELOGIC, Volvo and our associated Volvo entities will contribute by further developing smart charging services, the BEV investment planning tool, and integration capabilities with TMS and other third-party applications through a standardized API solution. Volvo Logistics will also participate in the testing and demonstration of digital tools and logistics models on a defined route in Europe.

“Volvo Group is committed to accelerating the transition to electrified transport through digitalization and innovative transport solutions that create value for our customers. Through BELOGIC, we aim to support practical, scalable, and cost-effective solutions that make the shift to electric logistics more viable.”
