Why BELOGIC?
PCL focuses on research and innovation in sustainable freight transport and logistics decarbonization. The transition to electric vehicles in logistics operations is a core topic within our current work, directly aligned with our mission to develop practical tools and methods for greener supply chains.
BELOGIC fits PCL’s objectives on multiple levels. First, electrification of logistics fleets is one of the key levers we address in our decarbonization projects.
Involvement in BELOGIC?
PCL actively develops decision-support tools for logistics operators, including route planning and emissions calculation tools based on standards such as ISO 14083 and GLEC. Participation in BELOGIC allows us to connect this tool development work with real-world EV deployment challenges and enrich our methodological base.
